Our journey to Colombia started with tourism in mind. Quickly we learned of the high quality and low cost of medical care in the Country (ranked higher than the US and Canada!). What followed was a medical procedure (surgery) that went flawlessly and rapidly to accommodate our busy schedule at a fraction of the cost in the US. We would have paid four times more than we would have in the USA so the procedure more than paying for the nice vacation that we took there.  We felt obligated to let others know of this outstanding value.
